Dr. Lee is board certified in Pain Management, Anesthesiology, and Independent Medical Examiners. She also holds certificates for Medical Acupuncture, Medical Laser Acupuncture, Stem Cell Therapies and Biologics, and Cosmetic Medicine. She is a member of Society of Pain Practice Management, American Society of Independent Pain Physicians, International Society for Medical Laser Application, American College of Disability Medicine, Michigan State Medical Society, and Ingham County Medical Society. She earned her fellowship training certificate in Pain Management from University of California at San Diego, residency training certificate in Anesthesiology from University of Miami, training certificate in acupuncture from University of California at Los Angeles. She is fluent in both Chinese and English. She utilized a wide spectrum of Medical Modalities in treating patients with individualized attention and compassion to achieve high quality of care and outcome.
In the state of Michigan: Blue Cross State Health Plan Advantage, Blue Cross MESSA, and the Blue Cross Federal Program routinely cover acupuncture treatments provided by physicians like Dr. Lee. Other commercial plans such as Aetna and Cigna may cover depending upon the individual plans. Auto insurances and Workman’s Compensation may give authorization to cover depending upon the individual case.
