IDD Therapy
What is IDD Therapy?
Intervertebral Differential Dynamics (IDD) Therapy is a non-surgical spinal decompression treatment for back pain, pain, neck pain and other related conditions, such as sciatica.
Many back pain conditions are located at a particular level in the spine. With IDD Therapy, computer-controlled pulling forces delivered in order to gently separate targeted segments of the spine, taking pressure off specific discs and nerves. At the same time, tight muscles and stiff ligaments are gently stretched during the procedure.
By decompressing an injured or bulging disc and stretching the soft tissues surrounding it, the patient’s spinal mobility is improved and the body’s natural healing mechanisms can work more effectively. IDD Therapy can relieve pain caused by muscle spasm and alleviate nerve compression and irritation caused by bulging discs.
